If your singer is 8 right now, he/she can move into Treble Choir (meets Wednesdays) for the fall session. Simply register your singer for Treble Choir when I mail you registration materials in July. Your singer does NOT need to audition for us.

If your singer is 7 right now but will turn 8 before Dec. 8, he/she CAN stay in DRM for the fall and join Treble Choir in the spring. It’s your choice. Keep in mind that Treble rehearsals are much more structured than DRM rehearsals.

If your singer will still be 5, 6, or 7 on Dec. 8, he/she will remain in Do Re Mi for the fall session. They will continue to meet on Wednesdays. I’ll send you a lottery waiver so you are SURE your singer will remain in Do Re Mi.

Exceptions: Singers who will be 7½ on the first day of rehearsal (Sept. 1) and have been in our program for 3 sessions [or more] may be ready to move into Treble Choir even though they’re technically too young. If your singer falls into this category and you want him/her to move to Treble Choir, talk to Mrs. Laabs or email Diane [bdramsden@comcast.net]. I’ll be sure your singer can register for Treble Choir. Like singers who are 8, your singer will NOT need to audition for Treble Choir.

As of right now, DRM will continue to meet 4:30-5:15 in the fall.
